Rafael Schwarz
Co-Founder
Rafael turns lab results into a company. He builds Silexa’s operations, finance, and first pilot programs, and is the person partners talk to when a collaboration gets concrete.
Origin
Grown out of the lab
Silexa’s technology grew out of academic research on silica-based ion-exchange materials in Leipzig — the synthesis routes and characterization behind the platform were developed and validated at the bench before the company was founded. The founders’ first product decision was simple: keep the chemistry, lose the plastic.
